Set up Poll Everywhere within PowerPoint by downloading and installing the plugin. This will allow you to create and insert your Poll Everywhere activities directly into your PowerPoint slides.
Pre-requisites: PowerPoint desktop app.
- If you are using a university MWS device, open Install University Applications on the desktop.
- Search 'Poll Everywhere' and Install.
- Open the PowerPoint desktop app (not via the web browser). Navigate to File > Options > Add-ins and click Go.
- Tick Poll Everywhere and then click OK.

Re-start PowerPoint. The Poll Everywhere tab should now appear above the ribbon.
(NB: tab still missing? Right click on the ribbon, choose Customize the Ribbon and tick Poll Everywhere.)
Add or Insert Activities to your Presentation

Click on the Poll Everywhere tab and log in to your licenced MWS Poll Everywhere account.

Use the New and Insert buttons on the Poll Everywhere tab to create or add poll activities to your slides. You can only insert one activity at a time

Once you have inserted an activity, you will see the activity bar at the bottom of the screen (similar to that on the browser). Use this bar to only show the instructions for an activity, lock the activity or clear responses if you plan on using this presentation again.

During the teaching session, ensure you are presenting in full screen mode to activate the poll activity.
