Recorded Educational Resources - Creating a Recording
Guidance for creating a recording for the MBChB
All recorded content for the School of Medicine is created and stored on the lecture capture software, Panopto. Please observe the following guides to see how you can upload and record into Panopto.
"Panopto Recorder" is an in-built software that allows you to record your resource directly into the system. First, you will need to install the Panopto Recorder application to your chosen Windows or Mac device
Once the application has been installed, this guide will demonstrate how to use the Panopto Recorder; choose your audio and visual sources, check their quality, select the secondary stream(s) and record into your personal folder.
The School of Medicine highly recommend that you create new resources using the Panopto Recorder. However, this guide will show how to upload an existing video file in MP4 format if you have recorded via Zoom or PowerPoint.
